I was just hoping for a Thorongil healing fic so was doubly delighted to find wounded!-and-healing!Thorongil here.

Cool fic. I'm glad that you brought out the thwarted Aragorn-Denethor friendship and how they envy what the other has. Your Denethor is more ruthless than I prefer, but I can see him acting this way in order to make sure that Gondor was not betrayed (not to mention underlying jealousy issues).

As a minor point, I'm not sure about the Rohirrim being ignorant of Quenya since Thengel lived in Rohan, married Morwen of Lossarnach, and used the speech of Gondor in his house (App. A).

Thanks for this fic! I've enjoyed reading your Aragorn fics with Halbarad and Arwen, too.

In answer to your question, yes, I've read King of Many Cloaks and all your other fics here. Interesting AUs!

Your story was recommended on another website so I checked it out. Marvelously done, a lot of depth in a relatively short story. I would love to see a sequel. On my Profile page at FF Net I included your story (along with about twenty others) on a list of "Stories I'd Want To Have With Me If I Was Stranded On a Desert Island". I've read literally hundreds of LOTR fan fics, but yours is one of the best.
