He sits atop my desk, looking fetching and desirably grubby in his Ranger-uni, courtesy Ngilla Dicksson. "You have forgotten me," he says in a most neutral tone, neither accusing, nor whining. Just a statement of fact. "You are unforgettable," I counter. He is watching my every tap of the key, crane of the neck. He's evaluating my every word--and lack of words. Tolkien wrote that Faramir could see into the hearts of men. Now Faramir attempts to see into my female heart with Wenham's baby blues. "Chapter Six," Faramir says. "Hurry up and finish it." |
