Suspicion |
Dwimordene asked for birthday drabbles about OCs, so here is one about Angrim, appended to the stories in which he appears. |
After the bridge was broken, the captains came to the western bank and took counsel with their lieutenants. Last came Angrim, reporting on the Rangers in his soft and civil voice. When he left, the Captain- General turned to his brother. "Why do I not like that man?" Faramir, stretching out, pressed the heels of his hands against his eyes. "He writes for pleasure." Boromir grunted. "Another poet. I've enough of those already. And yet, it isn't you he reminds me of. It's father." Faramir kept his face covered. "Yes," he said. "When I see Angrim, I think of father too." |
