This is breathtaking, both flawlessly crafted in words and concept. It is also so close to my own visions of Melian that it affected me greatly as I was reading it.
And on top of all the rest, your description of Thingol through Melian´s eyes are, I think, the most moving lines that have been written about that particular character yet.
