I am very sorry that I didn't review my present earlier. It was a totally lovely romp! Of course children would love Amrothos-he's interested in all the icky things they are and has managed to keep a child's wonder at the world around him. I like Morwen's voice in this-she's delightful in her burgeoning scholarship and her relationship with her father is wonderful. And she is also a very realistic, hormonal young girl. Faramir obviously absorbed the lessons he learned in Dol Amroth-Emyn Arnen is a warm and loving home. My favorite scenes are Faramir and Eowyn at the dinner table, communicating silently but in perfect accord, Faramir and Amrothos sneaking off in the night for a little scholarly expedition and of course, the Numenorean helicopter!
