As always, very nice Marta. I enjoy your obscure references. The tone of this was wonderful - it felt real - like what Merry would truly be feeling after all he had been through. Brava!

Like Arandil said before me, I very much like the tone of this piece. It's reflective and melancholy, but not too heavy; lightened now and then by humour which is also "appropriate": light but not ignorant of the mood and occasion.
The setting and pairing is also very original, but it makes great sense that Elfhelm and Merry would speak again about their experiences. Having them do so at Háma's grave makes it that much more resonant.
