**applauds** This is wonderful. I'd like to quote favorite lines back to you, but they're all so cleverly imbedded in a weave of fine drollery. SocialClimbing!Indis and CampFairyGodfather!Melkor are stuck in my head forever now, I'm afraid.
(the dialogue about sand reminded me just a bit of an unfortunate "romantic" exchange in 'Attack of the Clones.' In this context, delicious.)
