Been a time since I read this, Raksha. Again, such a gentle death, a joyful step to the sides of those who have gone before. May he be filled ever with joy as he stands by lady, brother, mother, and I hope his father.

Just was rereading "Undivided" again for the MEFAs, and I still find it remarkably touching. This reasoning for turning so on the orcs is so right for them, as is the form of comfort they find--just twins being twins together, resting with their arms about one another.
You realize how close to the fanon idea of Hobbit comfort this is, don't you? Love it!

Ah, what an image--Faramir and Legolas together! Add in a golden-haired princess, and one has a truly delightful image to consider!
