Summary: Like father, like daughter
"What does it mean to be 'entranced'?" Lúthien asked, while sitting on his lap. Clearly, someone had been singing of Nan Elmoth. Like an eagle, his mind flew back to that day. And, what could he say? That it felt as if his fëa had wandered somewhere far-- a place where all he need eat or drink was Melian? That he'd drank? That he could have stayed that way 200 years more, remorseless?
He settled for, "'Entranced' means your mother's smile."
Her frown said she was not satisfied.
"One day you'll know," he said, and lived to regret his words.
