A wonderful beginning, I so look forward to the next chapter. The way you describe Grima makes me shiver, I feel as if something cold touches me. Well written Soledad.

Your settings are impeccable and richly imagined. I love the AngloSaxonish atmosphere of Edoras. Aelgifu and Idis are very believable female characters. Keep spinning your varied web. I am ensnared.

I must say that it seams to be suicidal for Elfhelm to go to Rhun but it might be worth it. If the Men living there want to cut ties with the Dark Lord, then it is a chance worth taking. I can´t help the feeling that I am sure Elfhelm and Théodred shares, that something is wrong with Théoden King and that Grima has a part in it. But why would Grima do such a thing? *scratches head* I look forward to the next chapter.

Elfhelm has gone a long way and now he (and I with him) meet Aragorn and Legolas who are hunting for Gollum. By the looks of it the people of Rhun are placed "between a rock and a hard place" as the expression goes. If they are able to unite and make peace with the Mark, the Free Peoples would have a great Ally. *heading off to read the next chapter*

This is an amazing chapter, the Easterling shieldmaidens must be horrible to face in a fight. And I laughed and giggled while Aragorn and Ragnar´s son talked, I am sure it was the first time anyone spoke like that to the Easterling Lord. I am so looking forward to more chapters.

Good read. I used to read a lot of Tolkien fanfiction a few years back but stopped for a while, and started doing it again very recently. This one caught my attention a bit more, hence the review. I really enjoy this kind of story because it truly fills gaps in the original work. I have seen that it has not been updated in a while and that you are writing other sories but I am still hoping that maybe someday... In the mean time, I will go and read those Halabor stories. ;)
