The archery contest was marvelous; great descriptions as always. Loved the betting, that Anborn got a share of the winnings, that Boromir found yet another way to spare Herumor's pride - and especially, how it all led to Hurin and Achren's understanding. *has happy romantic thoughts*
More chuckling, over the Faramir-Idis-Eowyn allusions. :)
Very nice conclusion; I liked how you wrapped it all up, both happy endings and sad.

Poor Faramir, he may find that happens on occasion!
I've not had roast goat, but curried goat is delicious.
